Upcoming Events
As the calendar flows into the heart of the holiday season and the New Year, we wish you much happiness and hope that your celebrations are heartfelt and joyful.
We’re finishing this year with a welcome to our open house and starting next year with a traditional, Andean despacho ceremony. We have finally put together our most asked-for workshop, the Munay-Ki. And if you have dedicated your life to a sacred path, you might be interested in Deep Journeys, our advanced trip to Peru.
Pre-Holiday Open House: Dec 13
Stop by for a pre-holiday visit this coming Saturday, from 1-5pm at our house (16 Madera Way in Mill Valley). Come for the whole afternoon or stop by for a bit … we would love to see you. Music will be played, snacks and drinks will be served, and holiday cheer will be everywhere.
You will also have an opportunity to check out Eva’s trunk show of her new jewelry designs. After a few years of designing jewelry on and off, she has finally decided to let the creative stream carry her, and will have her first open studio during this time.
Whether you are looking for a last minute gift or not, come by, say hello and visit. We look forward to seeing you.
New Year’s Despacho Ceremony on Mt. Tam: Jan 1
Healing our Relationship with the Earth
Invite a newly healed relationship between ourselves and the earth for 2009 by joining our despacho ceremony on the shoulders of beautiful Mt. Tamalpais. Situated specifically at a nexus between the bay and the summit, between the ancient trees of Muir Woods and contemporary urbanization, and between the two years, we’ll take a moment to give gratitude to spirit in the exquisite tradition of the Andean despacho.
Munay-Ki Workshop: Feb 21-22, March 14-15
The 9 Great Rites of Initiation
The Munay-Ki are the nine great rites of initiation of the medicine way, to awaken ancient wisdom and a timeless understanding of life and creation. The name comes from the Quechua language: munay means ‘love’ and ki means ‘power’. Brought into the west by Alberto Villoldo, the Munay-Ki have made the initiatory rites of the Andean Laika more accessible than ever before, creating a powerful wave of purely energetic transmission rippling through the country.
Mann Partners offers a two-weekend workshop to explore and receive the Munay-Ki rites. During these gatherings you will learn more about the rites, as well as the principles and core practices that support them. You will be invited to receive the rites, and if you wish, to share them with others.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to receive an energetic transmission connecting you directly to a healing lineage dating back thousands of years.
Deep Journeys Peru:Sept 2009
Deep Journeys Deep Healing
Deep Journeys Peru will be an advanced trip, open by application to individuals whose life embodies a commitment to walking their sacred path. Like our Sacred Sites of Peru journey, we will visit many of Peru’s most sacred Inca and pre-Inca sites, laugh, and have a wonderful time. We will work with some of the most capable shamans in Peru, medicine men and women from the jungle, the coast and the mountains.
This trip will focus specifically on mystical ceremony, consistently working at and beyond the horizons of our experience and beliefs about the nature of our nature. Deep Journeys sets the intention to let go of fear and embrace ourselves to the fullest extent possible.

for an application.
Bits of Inspiration
We were inspired and moved by many of the links that crossed our desk over the last few months and wanted to share some favorites with you. Enjoy!
Temples of Humankind
In case you thought that secret, underground mystical temples were only for the ancients, check out this enormous, modern-day manifestation at Damanhur, Italy.Damanhur received an award from the United Nations acknowledging the community as an excellent model of sustainable development.
3-D Sidewalk Anamorphic Illusions
If you haven’t seen Julian Beever’s 3D sidewalk art, you’re in for a treat. It defies the imagination, and apparently the optical centers of our brain.
Sandpoint Transition Initiative
Our friend Berta is heavily involved in this Transition Town initiative to create a “sustainable, resilient and vibrant community” in Sandpoint, ID, and only the second one in the United States after Boulder Going Local in Boulder, CO. Admittedly, these web sites are a bit dry, but the substance is genuine and a wonderful example of what is possible working from the ground up.
We look forward to seeing you, hearing from you, or
crossing paths with you when we can.
Many Blessings,
Wallace & Eva
